Just as the title says, it rained that day. The rainy season started slowly at the beginning of May, so the sunny days were interrupted by several showers. I loved going there because of the amazing variety of tasty fruit and vegetables.
What´s your favourite thing about markets?
And the outlined sketch.
Great composition on this one! And lovely and colourful as usual!

I loved how you could find just about everything at the market. I had a custom pair of sandals made for me with old tire treads. They lasted for years!

Indeed. I sometimes was amazed by the random stuff you could find there. Never even looked at the shoes I have to say. My feet are so big compared to Mexican women that I didn´t want to try.

The cobbler traced my foot and made a pair that fit perfectly. It took about a week. Maybe next visit?

Beautiful as per usual. These scenes remind me of the fresh cheeses and cream at many Mexican street markets (and the free samples!)

Thank you 🙂 Oh yes. There was always this old guy, handing out fresh queso de Oaxaca. It was the best. I never could say no to that one.

I enjoy the interpersonal communication with the stall owners, always so much fun with language and being human…
Love your drawing.
